Background
Nicole is currently studying her 3rd year on the Photography course at LCA and asked me to create a brand identity and accompanying promotional material to be used when contacting industry professionals and contacts for potential job prospects. She aims to specialise in photo editing and retouching therefore the brand needs to reflect this specialised area of photography as opposed to photography in general. The brand needs to be contemporary, minimal in its form but has to stand out against an already existing dense market.
Why I have chosen the brief —
Live project - Client restrictions, set deadline, work in the 'real world'
Branding - Focus of interest, can explore logo and brand design in more depth
Creative sector - Less corporate, more freedom to be "creative"
