Brief 2 - Meeting with Rebekah [2]

I met up with Rebekah to show some of my initial logo designs to gain insight into what direction to pursue and develop. She outlined some more information regarding her collection and so it was clear as to what aesthetic she had in mind.

Info

Audience — 20s to 30s women (high end aesthetic)
Inspiration — Acne / Stella McCartney / Celine
Style — Embellishment, layering, negative space, lasercutting, foil
Colour palette — Muted yellow (key) natural colours (reminiscent of British heritage)
Clothing — Simple silhouettes with subtle detailing and embellishment

She showed me her project file and current progress with her collection so I can derive some example colour palettes to explore within the branding. I will also look into material and stock for the lookbook.

Photography

For the photographs in the lookbook (Photographer yet to be decided — hopefully taken by Nicole (Brief 1)) Rebekah requested 3 different photographs for each outfit, each with a different pose / expression from the model — this creates a motion and interaction that would be lost with one, static image. The idea of '3' could be explored through the format of the publication itself.
