Current development of the type specimen publication — we wanted to keep the same format throughout all of our type specimen publications as they will ultimately all be housed under the Form~writing brand. We decided to keep one letter per page (A5) with a different pangram (The quick brown fox... etc) in the centre of the publication to ensure no misalignment with written text.
Oh and I decided to name the font 'Lucid' as it's definition is "Expressed clearly; easy to understand" which is ultimately, what my typeface intends to be — a clean and typeface.
For the back, I emulated the concept of Max's type specimen by having half of a design running over the page and completed on the reverse of the design. I used one of my favourite character, the double-story g, and cropped the letterform in half on the front.
